How StoneWorks Boats Are Built
At StoneWorks, through its Fiberglass Marine & Industrial Composite Division, we're proud of the way our boats look and perform. Our boats are made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP). They feature the most advanced design, materials, construction methods and safety engineering. FRP boats have significant advantages. They are light, and therefore, more economical to operate in terms of fuel consumption. They are easier to maintain, too: they do not rust and rot, and so offer longer service and lower downtime for repairs. Our company also designs and fabricates FRP boats according to customer specifications.
At StoneWorks, we know how important it is for you to make the right choice. We firmly believe that you should purchase a boat with complete confidence that it will meet your needs and live up to your expectations. That's why StoneWorks boats are built to just one level of quality - the very best.
There are 3 primary components in the construction of a boat - the hull, deck and stiffener. In boats, all three are built by hand-laid fiberglass. The components are bonded together into a single unitary piece that will hold together under adverse conditions. It's the reason a Stoneworks boats offers unsurpassed structural integrity and performance.
At the StoneWorks Specialists Int’l Corporation we match our skills and talents to your ideas, rather than the other way around.
We consult closely with you every step of the way to ensure that the work we do - whether it be a minor modification, a refit, or a new vessel - is uniquely yours. We’ll give you advice - when you ask for it - and go over all your choice with you.
